Shanghai Opera House Dance Troupe (SOHDT)

During the past 50 years the Shanghai Opera House Dance Troupe has been playing an important role in the Chinese traditional dance drama, leaving a great repertoire behind.
In recent years, the company starts focusing on modern dance, cooperating with famous choreographers both home and abroad. The repertoire includes People under The Sky, Song of Life, Dance of The Planet, symphonic dance Leningrad Symphony and so on. In addition, some of them like Wind on The Sea, Carmina Burana, Bach’s B Minor Mass have been invited by many arts festivals and won acclaim.
