National Centre for The Performing Arts (Beijing)
The modern design of the National Centre for The Performing Arts contrasts sharply with the Chinese traditional architectures surrounding it.
The centre contains an opera hall, a concert hall and a drama theatre, all completely independent but connected with each other by elevated corridors. It has an opera house, a concert hall and a theater. The opera hall, the biggest of the three has an auditorium of 2,416 seats and is mainly for operas, ballets and dances dramas.
